Hamaishidake is a mountain in Shizuoka, and has an elevation of 2,320 feet (707 meters.)

Just 1.87 miles (3 KM) from Hamaishidake, the Yui area welcomes hikers and visitors. 

The nutritious, flavored and 40 mm of tiny Yui’s Sakura Shrimp has been a staple on the menu. Known for its pink color, Yui’s shrimp is originally transparent.

The high season for Sakura shrimp in this area goes from April to May and November to December.

Tokaido Hiroshige Museum

Learn about Hiroshige Utagawa’s influence on Ukiyo-e in the Edo era and even today. 

There are approximately 1,400 collections, including Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido, One Hundred Famous Views of Edo and Sixty-Nine Stations of the Kisokaido.

Experience the multicolored printing as you learn about the history of the Tokaido Hiroshige Museum as well as Ukiyo-e.
