Built in 1878, The landmark of Sapporo, Sapporo Clock Tower, is recognized as the oldest building there. There are hundreds of restaurants and stores in Sapporo Jogai Ichiba, especially seafood. Also known as Hell Valley, Noboribetsu Jigokudani, it is fun to walk through the volcano area. Noboribetsu Date Jidai Village is a history theme park that is based on the Edo period, reproducing the lifestyle and scenery of Hokkaido. Otaru is a port town, one hour away from northwest of Sapporo. The old Aoyama Villa is a symbol of herring fishing. Enjoy learning about history. At 13.5m (44ft) and 1,500t, the statue of Hill of the Buddha is made from stones. It sits on a large field that makes you feel relaxed. |
