Dazaifu Tenmangu is well known for success in exams and academic achievement. Almost 6,000 plum trees are planted in the area so the ground of the shrine is beautifully covered with them in February and March.
The Kyushu National Museum is one of the four national museums in Japan, which provides history about Kyushu. Also known as The Folk Craft Village, Yufuin Mingei Mura lets you learn about historic arts and crafts including pottery. Lake Kinrin was named from the beautiful scenery of the reflection of sunset on the lake. It is visited for picnics and walks. Hells of Beppu tour takes you to a variety of different hot springs, learning about history. At the end of the tour, it is interesting to try their soft-boiled eggs that are steamed using heat from hot springs. Usa shrine, located in Oita, many visitors pray for the safety and prosperity of horses. |
