Tour Overview

This special half-day tour departs from Shimizu Station and combines the traditional Japanese culture of “Kimono Experience” with popular Shizuoka sightseeing spots.
“You’ll be dressed in a kimono at the kimono rental shop Tsumugi-ya, and then stroll around Shizuoka’s famous sites in traditional Japanese attire.
You can choose the sightseeing spots that best suit your preferences, such as historic temples, castle ruins, and scenic spots.”
This plan is popular with overseas visitors as it not only creates great photos, but also allows you to relax and enjoy sightseeing while experiencing Japanese culture.

09:00 Meet at Shimizu Station
09:15 Depart from Shimizu Station

After gathering at the designated location, we will travel to the kimono rental shop “Tsumugiya” in a private car.

**09:30–10:15 (approx. 45 minutes)

Kimono dressing experience (Tsumugiya)**

Choose your favorite kimono and our staff will help you dress carefully.
Even if you are new to kimono, you can have a relaxed experience.

**10:15–13:15 (approx. 180 minutes)

Shizuoka Sightseeing Choice (Strolling in a Kimono)**

Choose a destination from the list below based on your interests and the season.

Ryugeji Temple
is a temple with a beautiful garden and a tranquil atmosphere.

Funakoshi Park (Cherry Blossoms)
The view from the hill is beautiful, and it is famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring.

Sunpu Castle Park
: The ruins of a castle associated with Tokugawa Ieyasu. Take a stroll while immersing yourself in history and nature.

Nihondaira Yume Terrace is
one of Shizuoka’s most spectacular viewing spots, offering a panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay.

Move to “Tsumugiya” and change clothes**

Return the kimono and change into your own clothes.

**14:15–14:45 (approx. 45 minutes)

Move to Shimizu Station**

Arrival and disbandment at Shimizu Station**
