Departing from Shimizu Station | Nihondaira Yume Terrace, Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, Ryugeji Temple

This tour departs from Shimizu Station and takes approximately six hours to explore Shizuoka’s most famous sights, history, and relaxation.
Enjoy the panoramic views of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay at Nihondaira Yume Terrace,
then take the ropeway to Kunozan Toshogu Shrine to take a closer look at the historic shrine associated with Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Finally, stop by the charming, tranquil Ryugeji Temple, where you can end your trip with a moment of peace and tranquility.

 

 

Tour schedule (including time allocation)

Duration: Approximately 6 hours

09:00 Meet and depart at Shimizu Station

After gathering at Shimizu Port, we will depart in a private vehicle.
We will provide you with information about the day’s itinerary and highlights.

**09:30-11:00 (approx. 90 minutes)

Nihondaira Yume Terrace**
An observation facility located on the summit of Nihondaira at an altitude of 307m.
It is a spectacular spot offering a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and Shizuoka city.

commemorative photos
Enjoy the architectural design and scenery
** 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (approx. 90 minutes)

Kunozan Toshogu Shrine (including round-trip ropeway) **
Japan’s oldest Toshogu Shrine, a historic shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Enjoy an aerial stroll on the ropeway to the summit.

Contents:

Ride the Nihon-daira Ropeway (round trip),
tour the main hall, worship hall, and grounds of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine,
historical commentary by
a guide, photography, and free time to explore

**13:30-14:30 (approx. 60 minutes)

Ryugeji Temple**
A Zen temple with a charming, tranquil atmosphere.
Take a stroll through the grounds surrounded by nature and spend some time calming your mind.

14:30 ~ Move to Shimizu Port
15:00 Arrive at Shimizu Port and disband

The tour disbands after arriving at Shimizu Station.
The schedule is designed to accommodate cruise ship departure times.
