This tour will allow you to enjoy a unique experience and sightseeing in Shizuoka in just half a day.
Departing from Shimizu Port, you will first experience traditional Japanese culture with a mochi-pounding experience. Afterwards, you will enjoy a lunch of authentic handmade soba noodles at Sobahan, a long-loved soba restaurant in the area.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a two-hour optional tour of popular sightseeing spots in Shizuoka City, choosing your favorite spots.
We have a wide selection of sightseeing spots to satisfy everyone, including history, nature, and spectacular views.

This is a recommended tour that offers a good balance of gourmet food, experiences, and sightseeing, allowing you to efficiently experience the charm of Shizuoka in half a day.

■ **09:30–11:00 (approx. 90 minutes)

Mochi pounding experience**

You can actually experience the traditional Japanese event of “mochi pounding.” It
‘s made the old-fashioned way using a pestle and mortar, and you can even taste freshly pounded mochi.
This is a popular hands-on activity that lets you experience Japanese culture.

Lunch: Sobahan Toro branch**

This soba restaurant has a good reputation among locals. They are proud of their specially made dashi and aromatic hand-made soba noodles.
You can enjoy a relaxing meal in a calm atmosphere between sightseeing.

Shizuoka sightseeing (optional)**

You can choose from the following six locations to suit your needs.

Tachibana-ji Temple: A calm temple where time flows quietly

Ryugeji Temple: A historical building and beautifully maintained gardens

Funakoshi Park (Cherry Blossoms): A park on a hill known as a famous cherry blossom spot. The scenery is also beautiful.

Kunozan Toshogu Shrine: An important cultural property associated with Tokugawa Ieyasu. Popular with history buffs.

Nihondaira Yume Terrace: A spectacular spot with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay

Sunpu Castle Park: A historical park built on the ruins of a castle associated with Tokugawa Ieyasu

*Travel time varies depending on the location you choose, so your guide will show you the best route.

■ 15:00 Disbandment
