Tour Overview

This half-day tour allows you to fully enjoy the unique Japanese culture and spectacular scenery of Shizuoka.
Departing from Shimizu Port, you will first experience an authentic tea ceremony at Gyokuro Village.
In a traditional Japanese room, you will learn how to brew fragrant Gyokuro and the proper etiquette, and spend time immersed in Japanese tea culture.
After the experience, enjoy a special lunch made with Gyokuro at the facility. The cuisine, which makes the most of the tea’s flavor, is a special treat that can only be enjoyed here.

In the afternoon, we head to Miho no Matsubara, a World Heritage Site and a component asset.
This is a spectacular spot representing Shizuoka, with a pine forest, blue sea, and, if the weather is good, a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji.
During your free time, you can enjoy walking along the approach to Miho Shrine and taking photos of the seaside.

Although it is a short tour, it is a fulfilling one that allows you to experience Japanese experiences, food, nature, and spectacular views.

Gyokuro Village: Tea Room Experience**

・Authentic Gyokuro experience in a Japanese-style room

Lunch at Gyokuro no Sato**

・Special menu using gyokuro tea
・Exclusive flavors that make the most of the aroma of tea
・Relaxing mealtimes in the lush countryside

Miho no Matsubara (free time for a stroll, approximately 2 hours)**

・A component asset of the World Heritage Site, Mount Fuji
・One of Shizuoka’s most spectacular spots, with pine forests and the sea
・You can also stroll along the “Path of the Gods” approach to Miho Shrine
・Perfect for taking photos of the coastline

■ 14:30 Departure from Miho no Matsubara
■ 15:00 Arrival and disbandment at Shimizu Port
